Diff Gear Change R33 Gtr

need to know if anyone has changed front diff gears in an r33 gtr.

Can it be done in the car or does the engine have to come out and sump off.

Is it easy enough to do, clearances, shimming etc.

Any help would be appreciated

I would also like to know what the front diff code is for the r32, r33 and r34 gtr's? Is it an r200a? And if so, does that mean that any nissan 200 series differential ring and pinion will fit?

If you change the front diff ratio, then you MUST change the rear to the same ratio.

The front diff could be removed/refitted without having to remove the engine.

Why on earth would you want to do it?

Because the 32's & 33's have too tall gearing which means you too often get caught off boost or between gears in hillclimbs/kharnas etc etc.
