Hey guys.. Ive got a r34 NA 25gt (as the user name suggests)

Basicly.. its not noticable at all whilst im already driving, but it seems that when im in first gear taking off at a set of lights, i need to give a considerable amount more gas to get the car started.. If i try creep forward in first gear with just the clutch, it struggles to find that friction point and 1/3 times will stall.. I am pretty sure its the clutch slipping but is there anything else that it could be ??

Some background info also: when staging up at the creek and choping up a burnout prior to my run  .. i find that after the burnout, for the next 15-20 seconds, my car attempting to drive forward in 1st gear in basicly behaves like its in neutral...

Can you guys please help me out on possible issues and how i can fix them ??

cheers

hey mate, if the car stalls, i doubt that the clutch is slipping. when the clutch slips, and its bad, you could have the car in gear, stopped, without stalling.

roughly when does the clutch take up?

and in regards to the burnout, the clutch can get really hot, just like your brakes, and get fade.

hope this helps, good luck.
