lol true. will do the next one if i can. by then atleast my brakes will be better then stock.

but ye ill be there will bring mate along for some good pics and also video camera

sweet so if they ask its being run by SAU ye???

and ye ill enter when i have a car worthy to enter lol

Oh come on dude, no excuses. I'll be entering in a stock auto GT-T - we can be GT-T buddies. If you don't drive I'll be dissapointed.

Edit: just had a read. So I'll need a fire extinguisher, secondary bonnet catch and battery triangle - am I missing anything? :P

Anyone? :P

ok so I'm avalible to do this one.

(fly out at 6 am the next morning)

so sandown kinda scares me, not much run off areas.

if I do the DT will I get timings and be in the club championship?

Or so I just need to enter as the slow group and work up the confidence?

either way I'm there

cheers

martin

Anyone?

yup, you need to have a fire extinguisher mounted properly in the car (not just screwed into the carpet). i made a bracket with mounts to the seat rails in mine. Blue triangle (just blue electrical tape will do fine) to indicate the battery location in the car, and finally the secondary bonnet restraint. if your bonnet on the car is standard it SHOULD be fine as technically it allready has a secondary latch, because you pop the bonnet with the lever, then you release the catch at the front... (mine is standard and ive never had a problem...) also dont forget, cover all limbs, so long sleaves and proper shoes are important. my mate once forgot about this rule and turned up in a short sleave shirt, he had to go home and get changed...

i think that covers everything you need, oh, most important, HAVE FUN!!!!!

i dont belive there is timing for the DT group.

you could always do the DT this time, get to know the place, then go for timing next time.

its up to you.

Cheers. I've been meaning to get an extinguisher for the '34 for ages, this at least forces me to do so. Can anyone confirm the stock bonnet will pass? Or do I need to go out and buy a leather restraint or similar for it?

Also - the battery triangle - would I be able to use blue Painters Tape instead of duct or electrical tape? It won't hurt my paint and I have that at home.
