Koenigsegg engine my ass- all it is is a boggo quad-cam 32V 4.6L Mustang engine. Koenigsegg just use the block from those engines, and the basic head dimensions- and then custom make every single part that matters

Champ if you read the thread he says that the real motor won't go in to the end of the build, i'd say it just to mock everything.

Really? I think this thing is way cool. I love things left of field and that have had a huge input of engineering from the owners. Much like the guy on here who has done wonders with a VW Bug. Way cooler then an overgrown RC car. :ninja:

Yes really Troy,,,I like the engineering side of it too but why do it to such an ugly bloody car. That VW is beautiful. It has style and class that box has vomit righten all over it.

If we ever end up on the track together one day mate I'll flash the lights of my RC car every time I lap ya. :D:bunny::bunny:

Yeh its friggin ugly! But its so ugly and its a "dead men dont wear plaid" kind of thing that it borders on cool as its offensive to all the usual F&F crowd that think stickers and Jap badges maketh the car :D

It different so i love it! :bunny:

...and dont take any sledging against Radicals as criticism, they are exactly what i crave from a track car. Low weight, no assist, just the car, reflexes and stooopidity! :)

It even passes 1000hp before 1 bar(14.7psi) of boost.

If we get 1500,1700 or 2000hp really doesent matter, it is only in it's drag-spec configuration it will be ble to put down these hp numbers.

As it is now it produces 170hp at idle, 290hp at 2000rpm... and after that the turbos really kick in... so there is always enough power...!

Totally off bost, it produces somwhere between 550-600hp if everything continues as planned.

Holy crap and we go on about boost response in our skylines sayin i get blah blah horsepower by 4000 he gets 1000hp before 1 bar, burn out pig if i ever heard of 1. imagine trying to keep it straight at the drag strip in a rwd car.....

It makes honda power at idle :P

I would have brought the 32 gtr he was going on about, 50 times better looking.

but i can see his reasoning some guys build em others buy em

That is some insane engineering. The team behind that car have amazing skills and must have amazing connections to get a hold of a koeniggseggseggseggvikinggabbaseg engine.

      Never ending fuel pump drama

      Might piggy back off this thread since there's been a good discussion about PWM.   I purchased a Walbro 460 F90000267 and have been looking into PWM to understand it. It was purchased more of a future proof as my original OEM fuel pump died (r33 below 200kw) and figured I'd just upgrade it to this. That's when it hit me that a pump this big can cause more dramas with such high amperage draw and heating of the fuel pump being on 100% all the time in such a mild setup.   I have a Nexus R3 and slowly collecting power mods but I was looking into the PWM feature on the NSP software:   Then looking at the graph from the fuel pump:     Am I safe to assume reducing duty cycle to 50% for example would make the pump run like a 230/lph ? Where does the PWM come in all of this ?   I've gone down the rabbit hole of PWM fuel pumps and it seems there are many differing opinions on how to go about it 😅

      That specific one would be an exchange part, meaning I'd have to send mine to them. Plus it looks like a non AWD sump, which won't work for me. There is one or two shops in my country that I can ask to do a sump extension job and it'd most likely end up being cheaper than sending mine to AUS or NZ and getting one back, and quicker too.

      Rear turbo is leaky, most likely at the oil drain. From what I could see with my boroscope it seemed to have seeped out at the very top of that return hose. Is it possible that the oil climbs up that hose to then leak out? Yup, coolant leak on the hot side of the engine, only noticed after seeing clear rusty residue in the block right from the turbo oil feed downwards to the pan, and red droplets hanging from the pan. No clear sign yet from where it comes, and most of the lines there are hardlines right? Last year, seeing those red drops, I thought it was power steering, will be glad if that is not leaky at least. Another leaking hose I found by chance is the lower of the two heater core hoses coming from the firewall to the back of the head. That one is not too bad to get to if I have to replace.

      I think for response I'm already kind of out there no? he -5s are not the best pick for that as the Internet tells me. Maybe I should switch to -7s while I still can? Though that almost definitely warrants an engine pull along with the other issues I have.
