Hi All,

I have an RB25DET which has a HKS adjustable actuator fitted. Currently its set with basically no tension in the spring, in order to run low boost, as I have been running the engine in. One thing i have noticed is it has a lot of boost creep. It will hit about 6psi hard then stop and creep to around 8.5 or 9.

One thing I am wondering, is it worth getting one of these turbotech boost controllers to control the boost? Which will give better boost control, adjusting boost via the actuator or using a turbotech? Will the boost creep be less of an issue with the actuator when there is tension in the spring?

Thanks in advance for any advice :D

Cheers,

Martin

P.S. No posts about EBCs please. I know these are the best way to go (and intend to in the future) but I have already blown my budget for this build (damn R31 drivers :ninja:)

turbotech worked great for me with stock turbos, dipped a little in the top end but thats to be expected with a mbc. for $22 they're great

try winding some tension into it, just make sure the gate can still open enough
