If you pull out, you need to advise Ryan (Belsil80) of your full name and that you are pulling out by PM or email.

We have a reserve list, so someone on that list will take your place.

& gazelle - YES - if someones on the reserve list, there is no reason why they couldnt come to DECA on Saturday ready in case someone pulls out

Hey all

This is comming up this weekend...

Just a bit of a note for all the competitors...

Make sure your car is ready to run.. please read the supp regs (which i have included the relevant parts below)

I would just like to reiterate some common points that often get missed.

Please make sure you have you fire extinguisher mounted using a METAL bracket...

Make sure this metal bracket is BOLTED inside the car.

NO Tech screws, cable ties, plastic screws etc.

Please remove all loose items from your car, this includes center consoles and glove boxes.

A handy tip is to put all the bits of crap floating around in you car into your helmet bag.

Please make sure you engine has no oil leaks, make sure the oil is at the correct level

Also make sure that your brake fluid and power steering fluid is at the correct level.

Check your battery and coolant bottles are securely mounted

(Proper brackets please, NO CABLE TIES)

Make sure you bring your helmet with you to scrutineering, and make sure it has a relevant standards sticker on it

(The acceptable standards are listed in the supp regs, and below)

Make sure you read all of the supp regs thoroughly and make sure your car conforms to them.

It's quite simple really, if your car does not comply, you will not be able to compete, and you will NOT get a refund

Other than that, look forward to seeing you all there and hope everyone has a great time...

Damn i was looking forward to racing against you again Phil :)

Now i have to try to beat John's Skylines

Hope you don't blow any intercooler hoses this time John :P

Juliette sorted.

Just a heads up people, if you are thinking of pulling out you need to do so before 5pm this evening to recieve your refund. Please keep in mind there are a lot of people on the waiting list so if you are going to pull out please try to do so as to let them get up there in time.

Also, please be at Deca by 8AM and get your car ready for scrutineering asap. The sooner we get out there, the more battles you will get in the afternoon.

Scrutineering will be located in front of the skid pan this time, not on the pan like last.

See you all up there!

1 more pulling out.

Leon has broken his hand so he is out..

And Shanes GTR is having dramas so he will now drive the 180 with me

So Shane (VSPEC33 ) will need to be in my group..

I hope thats not to much drama for you..

Thanks

Wayne O

Just letting you all know that at this DECA, we wont be running a BBQ as we have a lack of officials to run it on the day.

Instead, i have organised for a food van (run for fundraising purposes by the local Lion's club) to come along on the day and cater for us.

They will be serving sausages, hot chips, dim sims, hot dogs, drinks and tea/coffee.

The van should arrive about 11am and will be onsite till approx 2pm.

So lunch will still be served, just not by us

Prices are all very reasonable as well.

We will fill you in on their location at drivers breifing.

Looking forward to seeing you all up there. Drive safely.

Shame to hear Bec but great work on finding a replacement

As for the officials, I am always happy to help out when not in the drivers seat :D
