Now, Hamilton can drive, I'll give him that, but he's only been a pro for a little while now.

When he started, they called him "The next Senna".

When he overtook someone last year, they called it a "Senna-esqe" move.

Now with the "lie-gate" He's been called a "fierce competitor" who did what he could to win.

Senna WAS extremely competitive, also he was a bit of a prick, but he WAS honest.

After crashing out with Prost, he came out and said he did it intentionally, giving the excuse of being put on the dirty side of the track. Crappy or not, he spoke his mind. He didn't make crap up only to recant later and blame someone else when caught out.

I'll admit I don't watch every second of Hamilton's racing, but I can't remember him passing anyone in the wet, on the same tyres, but Senna did that all the time, many times multiple passes in a single lap.

True, the cars were much more varied, and some would say the MP4/4 and subsequent models were very dominant, but any more so than the MP4/22 ?

Hamilton had a great season in a great car. Senna had many great seasons in average and excellent cars.

Lewis may grow and become a great driver, though personally he wouldn't make my top ten at the moment, but he's still five solid years of results away from being fit to change Senna's tyres in my book.
