Won't Turn Over

Hi all,

I have an interesting problem with my R33 Skyline.

Last night i started the car about 6ish and it started without a problem but the two seconds later the revs dropped and the car cut out. I tried to start it again and it just wont turn over. it wasnt to start but it needs a little something...

i tried to jump it but it didnt seem to do anything at all, there is power as all the lights, stereo and everything else is working fine...

if you have any idea what it could be it would be great help...

Hey,

Could be a number of things... Start with the obvious though..

1. Fuel??

a) Is there any there:-)

b) Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn on ignition?

c) When was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

2.Check your fuses...

ok so it is a fuel pump issue but i thought you can generally hear when then pump is on its way out??? I dont think it likes cold starts... The car worked fine over the weekend but i went to start it again in the morning and it didnt want to know about it. Do i need a new pump or just a filter?? If a new pump anyone has any suggestions on where i can get one from?? Its for R33 Series 1 RB20DE.

GTR pumps are fairly good. but a bosch pupms isnt that expensive either so go for that. not sure of model number though

Need your help please... Where can i get a fuel pump either a bosch one or a walboro (spelling) Need one ASAP meaning yesterday its for Series 1 R33 with a RB20de engine in it.. thank you

You can get bosch and walbro fuel pumps from any Super Cheap Auto (may have to be ordered in) or Bursons (will have in stock but be pricey). Alternatives are ordering online, a GTR pump, or finding another R33 pump.

I believe thats all your options. Try any local japanese import wrecker.
