my drivers side window tint had to be replaced as it got a nice 4cm gouge in it.

After removing door trim and window surround, the tinter slowly peeled it off, then using soapy water and a razor blade went over the whole window and got the glue off, and kept doing that till it was all good, then used a squigy thing to wipe it clean.

he made it look easy, and only took him 5-10 mins, but expect it to be a bit of a shit, but not impossible.

u need a hairdryer , warm the film on the whole window u want to do when hot start from 1 corner and peel the whole window , it should be very easy once hot . u'll have a lot of gum left on the glass the best way to remove that is thinners or grease +wax remover try not to get it on the rubers , it should take 20 min a window to do a good job finish the job with a window cleaner .

now the hard part , the rear window u have to be carefull not to damage the demister , always pull the film across not up and down if u take care it shoulb be ok . keep in mind that window tinters will not guarantee the demister if the take old tint off.
