Hey I'm looking at getting some new shoes for my R32GTst

My two choices are below I've also added tyre choices I think might be suitable to make them fit but I'm not 100% sure wether specs exist...

Work CR KAI

F 18x9.5"+20 5/114.3

Tyre 225/45

R 18x9.5"+12 5/114.3

Tyre 245/40

Work XD9

F 18x9.0"+20 5/114.3

Tyre 225/45

R 18x10"+18 5/114.3

Tyre 245/40

At the moment i am running

F: R32 GTR 16x8 +30 235/45

R: Panasport G7 17x9.5 +17 255/40

Ive still got room for growth atm and also wanna go with a stretched tyre setup...

Have adjustable upper arms to increase camber to tuck em in if needed, but if some one with experience can guide me or tell me that this is impossible or possible and what i am overlooking or not

Thanks in advance guy

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a 92 r32 gtst, im currently running Black /polished Work XC8's 18x8.5 front at +30 with a 225/40r18 and a 18x9.5 +38 rear with a 255/35R18, I run 2.40 deg neg camber on the rear and with rolled guards i can just get my pinkie between wheel and guard.. Ground clearance is 110mm on car..

I have fitted 18x10 xd9's on the rear with a +38 and they fit ok with the 255 tyre but had to dial in .20 deg more camber.

heres some pics to show you the stance of those on mine..

I can also help you get these wheels as we sell heaps of Work from my shop in Brisbane

Cheers,

Paul

Lenso D1R

F-18x9 + 20 with 225/40

R-18x10+ 20 with 235/40

Sat a little bit mexican but that was with barely any suspension work, just threw the wheels on without adjusting anything.

9.5" wide on the front?? I dont think that will fit at all!

As for the two rim choices, both are very nice - my only issue with xd9's is that they look smaller due to their design.. most of the time 18's look like 17's.

Thanks for all the replys guy please keep them coming.

bros: Paul, ill be in contact with you soon

J-dawg: Jarrad that looks FAT dude, would love to see pics of the new shoes!

r32line: thanks

Below are a few more pics of how it currently sits, Riding on HKS Hiper Damper II Coilovers, JIC shorter upper arms front

on the rears are Panasport G7 17x9.5 +17 with 255 Falken Azenis,

Up front are R32 GTR Stockies 16x6 +30 with 225 Pirelli Dragons

At the back ive got about 3-5mm clearance but its a big tyre,

and up front i have minimum -3deg camber wit at least an inch before wheels goes anywhere near the guard

thanks again

p.s. i know she needs a clean but hey shes a dirty pig!!!

    • Throwing my spoon to the soup here a bit.  When I installed a 044 back in 2012, along with the direct power mod, the car became very difficult to start. To a point I burned one starter motor as I was late for work and tried to get the thing going. With some tuning and careful use of gas pedal when cranking it became bearable. Trying to make this short as possible, but the 044 died after 2-3 years, after which I went with an AEM 320lph pump, which also died after about 4 years to my dismay. After that I went with a Nismo pump, and while trying diagnose an emissions problem, I noticed for the first time that my fuel pressure was 5bar/72psi on idle, and that removing the vacuum line did nothing. After monitoring the situation, and removing the direct power feed and going back to FPCM in attempts to remedy it, I noticed there was fuel in the pressure regulator vac line. Kept the FPCM, installed AEM external regu and the car became sooo much better in every way, including starting. And I had driven it like it was for 11 years.. Anyway, I agree these are likely two different problems, and the FP problem you just haven't noticed before. I do not know much about haltecs, but what first came to mind was the CAS, which probably is not there any more. So how is the wiring from haltec to gauge cluster? How is the battery voltage and alternator?
    • Your car was auto before? You have different diff ratio (auto vs manual i think? or n/a and turbo?)
    • +1 for getting a screen off alibaba, CarPlay/Android Auto is vastly better than whatever navigation cars had 10 years ago. I got an Android screen for my 2015 BMW, huge difference. Fully compatible with factory stuff including iDrive controls.
