Hi, i have just installed these hks coil overs and now i don't know how to adjust/set these damper settings has anyone got experience with these or done it before. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ive put some pics of what im talking about the tops have come all the way out and im sure its not suppose to be like that.

hey

lve got hks hyper d coilovers in my r34 and lm sure there not damper adjustable, but check inside the top of the shaft is there like a allen key fitting(very small inside the top of shaft) some other coilovers adjust there. As for the shaft sticking out you may have a problem there, it looks like the pillow ball tops have crapped out(its hard to tell in the pic), but go get them checked at a suspension specialist to make sure(dosent look safe to me).

the pillow ball can be repaired if thats the problem.

Just a suggestion, may be wrong, but i'd say you adjustment is via the hex nut on the top. Not familiar with HKS dampners, but this is normally where the adjustment point is. Grab a shifter and see if it turns and clicks, if it does then this is the adjuster.

i hav the hyper d's in my 33 mine are damper adjust n it is an allen key in the shaft, and yeah def looks like something isnt write
