Hey all.

Looking at new sump for my 25/30. Its going into an R31. Will i have any clearance issues with swaybar/crossmember and the like if i get one of these enlargened sumps.

Are the RB30 sumps the same for both the VL and R31 RB30's?

Thanks for any assistance,

Chris

the hi energy sumps will not fit any jap stuff only 30,s in vl,s. sad but true... we learnt the hard way two year ago and now manufacture our own that will fit all cefiro, 180, silvia and all skylines.

They do fit, they only reason they didn't fit was because they hit the swaybar (have an older style at the workshop that's going in a commodore) but High Energy informed me that ALL the RB sumps they now do cater for the swaybar in skylines etc.

My sump is slightly on the backburner due to exhaust manifold issues, but I will post up for the whole world to see just exactly how it will fit :)

i need a sump to fit a 180? does anyone know if the HE sumps will fit in no dramas? lewis engines, i checked your website and you have no information about any sumps on RB's??? only CA's...

update soon?

Don't really want to chop the front of my sump, rather it fit up all nice :P

my he sump has a angle on the fornt of it and it still hits in my s15, rb26... so no it wont fit... i have to get made up a custom sway bar

heres an HE one i welded some fittings on and coated up

Turbo side didnt have enough room onto of the extension for the fitting so the return to sump went on the side, the catch can return on intake side is sitting ontop of extension
