ive done a search but didnt find anything like my issue

fitted a front mount intercooler friday and the car started to flat spot about half throttle going oto boost on a slow load at about 4k, operating the throttle quickly it dosent happen ,so fiited my afr gauge and when it goes flat the afr leans off to 16 from 12 then after a second it goes back to 12then down to 11.5 at higher rpm so the afr seems ok apart from said issue ! so is it the fact noe ive improved the airflow is the maf having trouble try to sort it of do you need a remap at this level of tune which is a exhaust boost controller set at 8.5 and a front mout with splitfire coil packs

and help please lads

cheers jay

AFR Gauges are just gimmicks :)

Its probably the ECU sensing too much airflow, basically common problem #1 with a stock ECU.

Some get set off @ 10psi, some 12psi, some less. Try cleaning the AFM and checking other sensors first
