Plenty of kits from ING, Nismo, Ken Style etc..

Not cheap though. IMO if you had 4-5K to spend on a full kit + paint and fitting, you would be better off getting a nice set of Jap 19s first. The coupe lines already looks good from factory.

from carmate. Lots of problems fitting. But it's finaly on and looks ok

same kit as the ugly orange V35 in Fast & Furious 4. "Kenstyle" copy

Holden VY fog lights should fit the KS kit

So the fitment from carmate was pretty average?

Kenstyle isn't my taste, neither is the black X metal.

Just want something clean, perhaps the Ings or Impul. As for spending 5-6 K on rims don't think i'll be doing that. I've been down that path before and although yes it is nice to have work wheels etc.. But you can pick up some light weight racing rims in good sizes, 19 x 9 +22 and 19 x 10 +28 for 2K. I wont be taking it out the track or anything anyway.

They had to cut and patch the back bumper to get it to fit

IMO the ING and Top Secrect kit looks nice, simple, and makes the car sits flush. also not expensive (if it were the replica). other than that this would be the kit id put on my car :P

OMG! i think the doors and roof are the only things left original

there is one ing for sell in this forum, mayb u should act on it?

2k for 19" and light wheel? Wat brand and where is it made? It makes me sounds stupid to spend double on that..

+1.

I want to know what brand can get 2k for 19' lightweight. That is a really good price even for 2nd hand.

My 18' NISMO LMGT4 cost me 2900 with noise second hand bridgestone.

Yeah these came up at a good price, still not sure if I will get them though. These rims are 11.2kg (fronts) and Work Meisters and BBS LMs are 10.9kg in the same size and width. So they aren't as light as Japanese rims but not what I would really call heavy either. In the end it鈥檚 not going on the track etc so I really doesn't bother me. I know for some people having light rims etc is an essential and that鈥檚 great Work, BBS, SSR etc look fantastic, but for me I only want to buy new and they just aren't in my budget.

lol. yerh a mate of mine showed me the link a while back. first time i saw it i fell in love (pure porn)! Its similiar to the aps Wide Body in a way but looks heaps better (more tough). i read the article somewhere the kit alone was 18-20k usd ;) and rims were 10k usd :worship: . alot of money. why can someone replicate these type of kits :P

i too prefer simple lines

going to just go a simple kit

will post pictures when its done

will be a mix of a few kits, to get a good finish. look agressive and low without all the hoo-haa

how is it "simple", when it is MIXED up and looking AGGRESSIVE + LOW?

i thought when it says simple, it means more towards vip, less aggressive and 'normal-low'?

Or did i mis-understood? :)

it will look agressive for the fact the car is very low.

it will look simple for the bodykit does not have excessive or any for that fact holes, etc. to make the car look different

its kinda going for a vip look as you said.

dont worry u shall see in the near future. allready have 2 parts just waiting on the 3rd part once someone gets back...... then i can get it all prepped and fitted.

i want to respray my car black too... but i hate the fact of the swirl marks, so i might stick with a sort of darker silver / grey

    • The R32 suffers from an instrument binnacle that is uncomfortably close to the design of a VN Commodore's. But beyond that, the layout of the rest of everything, and the materials (ie the vinyl coverings on dash, armrest, etc) are acceptable, and the patterns on the fabrics are not as blergh as those in the R33. And R33 seats are....quite unattractive. I know it's only small details there, but I reckon the R33 got worse than the 32. But the big blergh is the overall shape of the dash on the R33. It's just has that whole Maxima/Pulsar sort of look to it. Nothing special at all. Generic Nissan sedan. Whereas, at least the R32 dash/binnacle was different. Less a wide expanse of boringly curved plastic. More a "cockpit" sort of look, even if nowhere near to the degree that the A90 Supras got. R34 seats look good on their own, until you realise that they are indistinguishable from the shape and fabric on 70 other Japanese cars. And the foam bolsters on them suffer even worse than the earlier cars. Other than that I don't really have an opinion the rest of the R34 interior. I took the bits of the R34 I wanted (brakes and engine) and added them to the best external appearance Skyline in the modern era (the 32). So nyerr!
    • Can I be your first customer? I would like hard lines done for the fuel system, 8AN up and 8AN back and the underside wire wheeled and coated (brush or sprayed) with that black tar shit.
    • Speak for yourself, I love the R33 interior. 32 is blergh. I like the 34 interior too. Then you start getting much newer in most cars and they all turn back to blergh. 馃槢
    • 500-600hp into a RB is already 'sinking endless amounts of money' into an engine. Especially a 30 year old engine. Unfortunately this is the RB Game. Considering stock power (or at least stock components) will do ~360whp on 98 by simply turning up the boost on the stock gear on a RB26, that would be where I'd say the cutoff point for "sinking endless amounts of money into the engine" Cause to even do this reliably you'd probably need to replace all the bits anyway cause they're old, starting your sinking journey anyway. I reckon the least painful way is rebuilding the engine to make 50hp over stock lol. The 'plan your ownership around a rebuild' was a common saying 15 years ago.
