Love your work, Pete. Can't fault your tips either... I've gone for the old win-win tip for the Showdown. Crows win, all is good. They lose, I get a tip right.

For me the jury is still out on Knights. He's turning into another Scotty Thompson, but with less class and potential. He has a tendency to turn the ball over far too often under pressure (clangers) with poor disposal in clutch situations. I rate David Mackay, NVB, and Bernie Vince all ahead of Knights at the moment. He needs to lift his game to the next level.

As for Port, I reckon Choco should've left Carr in perfect opportunity for Josh to get his 'mojo' back. Matty Thomas will have to find someone else to knockout now that Bass' has retired.

I hope the game is much the same as the 1st Showdown (Rd 3 or 4?) last year. That was an awesome game. Good hard footy, close all game, with the Crows taking the win by 6pts, and Vince winning the SD medal.

Haha, hedging your bets both ways Matt....I do that alot.

I agree about Josh....as bad as he may be travelling, he always gets up for the Showdowns, especially when his best mate Roo was playing

apparently there was only 2000 tickets left for sale this morning

i think sam is in the shit

ill be there!

Yeah Luke unfortunately ticket sales don't always equate to numbers at the gate which is what the bet was based on....I'd like to see over 40K there for sure.

Adelaide up 2 goals vs Ports 1 point

however

Port showing a lot of talent, good ballwork. one of those ugly ass cornes boys just marked with one hand while he was being tackled - pure skill.

And it looks like theyve just scored their first one

7-12

Its gonna be a good game I reckon

-D

Edit +1 goal for port. Looks like they turned up this week lol

41,500........now we have to put up with Sam Newman coming to town.

Poor Fev......the mate I went to the footy with tonight is a Carlton boy and he cried all night......still 8 goals in a game is his equal best ever.

Commiserations to Matt & Talbo, great game if you are a Port boy though, but must've been frustrating watching all the side ways action to your goals and Port's ruck domination, not to mention the Cornes boys who will suffer from leather poisoniong this week, lol.

You'll have to try and square the ledger in 3 mths time.

Port looked slick tonight. Quick ball movement, good skills, and first to the footy. Hammered us in the ruck too! They clearly wanted it more and they deserved the win. Truck was poor, first time in a while Tredders has won that match-up. I tipped Port and expected them to win convincingly - tipped them by 20pts and wasn't far off - 26pts

Really didn't expect the Hawks to win. Fev's miss was a shocker. That's one tip that got away. The Eagles was the other one... mind you it was more of an Eagles loss than a Freo win - 9 goals 20 is a lot of wasted opportunities.

i watched the Melb vs Geelong game and even though Geelong won, melbourne has a lot to look forward to in the near future.....considering where melbourne are atm they did pretty damn good to keep in touch with Geelong....instead of being hammered.....

Don't know about that Krishy.......history tells us that occasionally bottom teams can roll top teams cause of lack of preparation by the top team or the "nothing to lose" attitude of the bottom team.

Even though they put up a bit of a fight against the Cats, they're still a bottom 2 side IMO.

With Ablett out for 3 (maybe even 4), it won't really make much difference against Swans @ home next week and NM (no Boomer) at home again the week after.......Doggies away the following week could be a bit tougher but I'm still backing the Cats in that one.

    • Hi everyone, just looking to see what's available in the GTR seat options, testing the waters on what's available. Wanting a driver's seat to replace my old school OG jap race seat, going to re-register the car so need a factory seat. Prices currently seem to go from $300 to $2k for a driver's seat. What's options are there, that's good condition and actually a realistic price? Located Brisbane. Thanks
    • Are these a plug and play setup, and do they need a tune, like a haltech ecu etc? Thanks
    • Nice work on the paint. Those 3 studs are long as.
    • Hi everyone, still chasing a bunch of this stuff. Thanks
    • Been over 2 months since I have done anything on the S15 and had a day off today so got stuck into mounting the radiator and intercooler. I ended up using factory bottom mounts as bolted in and I did order some gktech top brackets but didn't work with the PWR radiator so made up some with aluminium flat bar. Spent way to long on them but pretty happy how they are. Next job was the intercooler. Used some more aluminium flat bar and did the bottom mounts first. Top was easy as just one long piece and 2 90 degree coming off rad support and welded them on. The bumper support required some notching to let the outlets sit where I want so will add some reinforcement later to strengthen it. I have also bought ecu and waiting for it to arrive. Went with a Link g4x Xtreme but will be adding a ptmotorsport expander to add a few extra inputs over CAN. Went through a few different configurations on pclink to get what I want to allow future expansion for sensors and gearbox upgrades. Ordered gktech rear arms but looking at the hardrace lower control arms to have some extra adjustment too will see how the alignment looks after first setup. Got 2 more weeks of work before shut down and will have almost 4 weeks to work on this so planning on hopefully firing up mid January.   Also bought a 2015 brz with a heap of good gear, did noosa hill climb a month back. Owned it for 3 days changed alignment and sent it. Finished the weekend 2nd in class and only .3 off the 180sx best time last year. MCA Red coilovers, gktech rear lca, bolt on lock kit and tie rods, whiteline toe arms, cusco 1.5way diff and 4.5 ratio, endless brake pads, headers, exhaust, perrin intake and e85 tune. Electronic steering adjustment, nankang crs with koya wheels 17x9 +35. Have bought rear traction arm and relocation kit, extended studs and v3 tie rod kit. Planning on also getting flex tune as lucky to get 300km a tank with e85 and short ratio. Car is a heap of fun to drive and super easy to work on. AC in the line up at Noosa was mint in 35degree weather.
