Good to see Freo get a decent win at home, also means Hawthawn now have a chance to get the 8th spot if they beat Essendon next week. Not that I'am a Hawthawn fan but would be a shame if the depending premiers didnt get a chance to defend the cup.

I watched the Crows/Blues game yesterday and this is my honest assessment..........as much as it pains me to say!!!

I can't see any team knocking off the COWS in September as long as they can maintain that same frenetic speed and intensity they displayed yesterday......Not Geelong, Not St Kilda and Not even Collingwood!!

You may well say that all 3 of those teams have beaten the Crows not only once this year but some even twice, but that was a good learning curve for them and they are so much better for the losses.

We learnt in 2007 that beating the best team on their home ground means nothing on the last day and I'm guessing that the 3 top teams won't be able to prepare well enough for the Adelaide boys.

As far as next week goes, with no Lloyd "The Sniper", they'll smash the Bombers by 10-12 goals.

On that note, Lloyd won't see another game this year and I can't wait till next year when the Hawks face off against the Bombers again.........I may even fly over for that one cause I'll lay any bet that it'll be held at the G, not Telstra Dome. For those that are unfamiliar with the bad blood between these 2 clubs ie. the famous "Line in the Sand" game, check it here, even made Wikipedia.

Line in the Sand Match

By the way, we won the Flag that year!

It shouldn't pain you to say it at all! :D

They played bloody good footy yesterday but I'm not 100% convinced that they can knock off St Kilda at their best. I fkn hope they can... Crows have a mathematical chance of making the four if the WB get flogged today and I'd take our chances against St Kilda away with a second chance

Watched us play melb today...we looked FLAT as a tack we've got a bit to do to get back to where we were 4 or 5 weeks ago. Crows looked good but carlton are neither here nor there, some weeks they play like a top 4 side and the other weeks i think melb could beat them!

Speaking of melb Liam Jurrah...what a star in the making melb will be a force in the next few years i think, i don't think Damien Hardwick can save richmond their in some serious trouble over there in tiger land...What kind of a spray was that for Choco to give his football team????? All the stuff he mentioned starts with him (fitness and yada yada) maybe he should look in his own backyard instead of blaming everyone else! He won't see his 2 year contract out at alberton

You make a valid point about Carlton, but I think the crows intensity and hard ball gets especially at stoppages can't be ignored. The amount of pressure applied by the crows especially defensively inside their forward 50 was awesome.

^+1. Also the ability to have Tippet useful both forward and in the ruck has made a difference since Moran's injury. At the moment I think they will struggle to drop someone to make way for an all australian defender (Bock)

This is my finals prediction........and after this weekend, it could be the 1st time in years that all remaining finals are held in Melbourne (possibly MCG).

But in front of 100,000 peeps on the last day...........Saints just!

well no surprises, the Sniper got 4 which is a season ender...........and possibly his career!

Shame really if he goes out on that note......you can't really compare him to the likes of Hall who's a thug.......would love either one at the Port ferals club though.

No way Steve.........I've known it all along! :):(

Damo, that is a good bet cause I think it's just the Vics that don't think the Crows can go all the way........surprisingly enough, I do think it'll be a Pies/Crows Grand Final.

    • It only looks tidy, as most of the stuff that was on the whole back wall, is now in the trailer to go to the tip, or has been shoved in my 2.2x2.4m "Spare parts room", and now I can't get to anything in there Ha ha ha I could definitely do with a bit more space, but I'd just end up with your problems I'm going to enclose the car port beside the garage, and move a lot of stuff into it I think. OR... It will be setup as a fabrication area, and the main garage will have parts storage in it. I'm not sure yet... Need some pictures of that big shed you've got with the bikes and Skyline in
    • No. I think it's gone. 😭 I think you can get body coloured ones on eBay so I think I'll get one of those... Or just hang a red ribbon from the hole and whack a TOW sticker next to it.
    • Can't say I've had a bad experience with one on my car, then again it only gets washed once or twice a year... The wheels on the other hand, get a good spray often due to my shitty dusty pads.
    • @MBS206 thats pretty neat and tidy to me!  I'll get a photo of mine when I'm out there next. It might require multiple photos to understand the scale of the atrocities though... In total I have 4 sheds of varying sizes and layouts. Main shed is 14x8, second shed is 3x8, third shed is 11x2.5, fourth shed is around 6x4.  All are pretty much full.   The main goal of my cleaning tsunami is to make the main shed predominantly car and motorbikes only. Second shed is my metal fab room (2 x bench grinders, drill press, bench belt sander, metal band saw, scrap metal storage and some of my garden tools.  3rd shed is more bigger garden stuff, storage for engine crane, jack stands, concrete grinder, concrete mixer, air compressor lives there, and it now has two 2mx2m pallet racking shelves with itemised boxes holding building stuff, electrical stuff, plumbing stuff, etc, etc.  The 4th shed is Ryobi electric ride on mower, mini boom sprayer, ancient Kubota tractor, more garden stuff!  I have got a lot of shit....  Then there's the pool house (8mx4m) and the pool pump shed (4mx4m).  I built all of the sheds over the 11 years we've been here.  The main shed was a Ranbuild kit, the rest are all custom made to fit the areas available. Building the main shed taught me a LOT as I had no idea about building anything prior to that!  I've still got one more in me. It will be my man cave which I poured the extra concrete for way back when I poured the concrete for the main shed. The idea is the Skyline will be a centre piece of the main cave once (if...) it's finished.  I told my now 14 year old son yesterday that I will 100% drive him to his year 10 formal in 2 years. Still a long way off but at least I now have a date to work towards! 🤣
