A pic of AAMI i took on the weekend from bay 120. 50,333 or so people i think, lets see a Port game pull a crowd like that. Very disapointing that they only managed 17,000 with 3 of there senior players retiring.

Great game, will be a close 1 next week as collingwoods man on man football does seem to work well against the crows. If we can beet collingwood i would say that Crows would be favourites to win the flag.

LOL, here we go..........try 66,000 Port Adelaide vs Sturt.........and that was just SA peeps, we didn't need VIC's to make up the numbers!!

waits for some clown to say...."oh but that's SANFL, therefore arguement is invalid"........what a load of cock, same ground, same supporters, same licencee!!

Don't get me started cause I've been quite parochial in regards to the Crows great form leading into these finals but 1/2 of you members didn't even know what a footy looked like before their inception!

I'm happy to keep given them accolades (which they deserve) due to their good form but some of their supporters with very short memories are what makes me wanna hate the Crows....not the actual club.

consider how dodgy the weather was that saturday night?

in 07, the two finals games Port played here at AAMI vs West Coast and North Melbourne were pretty much full house...

it is common knowledge that the crows have far more members anyhow.

The old port cant get a crowd treatment.

Common knowledge will tell you that the Crows have a much larger supporter base.

Its also common knowledge that Port adelaide magpies supporters are going to be the only ones supporting the power.

ALL other SAFNL teams, south, north, centrals etc etc will 'usually' support the crows.

The weather was shocking for the powers last game.

Power are playing awfull. that also doesnt help.

I guarantee if the crows were playing bad the crowds would drop. Just like any other team in the AFL.

The argument is invalid because you are including two groups of supporters in their home state. Sure there were some Essendon supporters at Football Park on Friday night but they would have accounted for less than 15% of the total crowd. The 66,000 people that watched that Port v Sturt game would have been close to 50/50 supporters from each team.

And I remember the SANFL. I was a member at Glenelg from my 6th birthday. I even went to Glenelg Primary and was taught by two ex-SANFL players. As a long-suffering Glenelg supporter I can only enjoy the fact that the Power aren't doing as well as the Port Magpies did prior to the Crows' inception. It's about time Port supporters learnt the harsh realities of barracking for an unsuccessful club - the pain of losing Grand Finals and the shame of not even making the finals.

Don't mind me Pete, I'm just sulking cause my cousins can't get the time off work for the road trip to the MCG for Saturday's game so I'll be watching it on TV like everyone else.

haha, speaking of Glenelg Dave (shows how ancient I am) I remember being a trolley boy Sat mornings at Coles Glenelg when Cornsey used to come in before a game (as a player) with his split sided style Puma shorts pulled up to his chest.........he'd bend over into the dairy cabinet and display his dangly bits for the checkout chicks :):)

yeah dunno Ben.........I've spoken to Studley a couple of times at functions and not only has he a good footy brain but about life matters in general..........however, his missus Nicole, no arguement there :thanks:

I suppose that was a bit harsh on my part. I kinda just get sick of the incestuous adelaide media having nothing else better to report upon. I just don't understand how nicole cornes gets a column in a paper, and the picture they had her with summed it up...

ncornes.jpg

And I'd read her column and Amanda Blairs and get shitted off about how f**king dumb their opinions are. And they get >paid for it< Notice how all the women doing the 'womens pov' columns that like to bag men, are generally single, childless and in their late 30's (see 'Amber Petty') and they get paid for it..

yeah im jealous, so sue me

back to football - really hoping the crows kick some arse

dunno if anyone was ever in the city when adelaide won grand finals but it goes off like a frog in a sock

It's like the sides have switched jumpers... Shitting myself right now, things not looking good for the Crows

im going to be annoyed if i have to eat my hat, and remove the 'necktie of choking' from port adelaide and hanging it around the crows until next season. not a good feeling

    • Um. No. Since Matt introduced the TIM it has become a lot easier to deal with the consequences of changing K for AFM and injector swaps. Then, tuning is a f**king doddle. No-one needs to know or care how many grams of air are flowing or any other bullshit. Need more fuel in a cell? Add more fuel. Need more timing in a cell. Add more timing. Need to adjust any of the other tables for warm up and so on? No harder than anything else. Sure - it's not an ECU system for starting from scratch on an arbitrary engine. But then.....it was never supposed to be, not recommended for, and almost never used that way. So.... On your engine, in particular, Nistune/Nissan OEM is about as sophisticated and difficult as banging 2 rocks together. Those ECUs are primitive and simple. There is nothing difficult there. I learnt Nistune from scratch, created new maps with extended axes, interpolated/extrapolated the original maps onto them and tuned my RB20 (basically the same ECU as your 26 ECU) all by myself, more than 20 years ago. And that was long before even TIM.
    • Set of knee pads for a R34. Will fit every model I think. Comes with everything except the rubber covers for the bolt holes. Still in great condition. You will need to drill holes to mount these or use double sided tape. I can do free shipping and will be shipping from the Netherlands with tracking.
    • Nistune needs something like an entire excel spreadsheet in which you build an abstraction layer that converts everything from real units you can actually measure into all of the various tables. The number of unexpected dependencies hiding in how the Nissan ECUs do math is a pretty impressive optimization trick for 8-bit MCUs but good god is it awful to actually work with in practice.
