give it a hit in the wet around a corner and youll see the torque gauge move :P

ive actually worked out how to get the stagea sideways in the wet!!

It must be rocket science if it took you to work it out lol.

I'd prefer not to be sidewise unless I'm in a skidpan

ARX got he 6cd radio from what I have seen. that said the wiring IS THERE! if you are up for it find the cluster and plug it in.

Here's one I found, new, on rhdjapan.com: http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/NISMO-M35-...ers-White-56190

ahh damn!!! ok ill find more shit you guys dont have in your povo packs :P

LOL, cue the games of "Hey, have you got one of these???"

lol it's easy to get it sideways in the wet..

i got it sideways about 5 times on my way home..(unintended)

easy to control..

im used to all wheel slides coming from a bunch of awd performance cars..

then again..

I might have to try harder lol

I think mine sits a bit steadier due to Nismo S-Tune suspension, the weight doesn't move around quiet as much as standard suspension M35's.

LOL, cue the games of "Hey, have you got one of these???"

hahaha yes i cant wait for that tonight! whos coming???

and stephen, yeah firmer suspension will make it MUCH easier to get sideways. hence why it took me longer, a wet night and 5 people in the car :P

2003 RS FOUR here, with the guages in the centre (except my boost guage is broken - barely works - 99% of the time it sits on full vacuum even under heavy throttle when i can hear the turbo spooling).

no "stagea" on door sills, no leather, no heated seats, no rear air-con vents... you guys suck lol :(

but hey...i do have guages...even if only 2 of them are working (but the volts one isn't very interesting and i dont drive fast enough for the front torque one to move much either).

no overdrive button - but then s2 stageas dont have one either. no real need when you have tiptronic.

Broken boost gauge eh? Yep, me too.

Hasn't worked properly since 2 weeks after I got it.

Had a number of looks at it and so have RE Customs.. Nothing doing.

Have given up on it and will be looking at getting a Nismo cluster (in the distant future).

Jack one rear wheel off the ground, with handbrake off, rotate wheel. If wheel turns, no lsd. Friction from lsd will prevent you from rotating wheel. Good luck, hopefully more free lsd's will be found!

Erm, just so you know, with one wheel up and handbrake off, my old man's Prado's wheel can be rotated & it has an LSD.

Maybe I will just wait 'till the weekend and see if there is anything stamped on it instead!

Yeh, you're right, spotted this with my mates supra a while ago, and it locks up hard on the street, but it still had resistance. wouldn't free wheel. It's more just a simple rule of thumb. Definitely will be something oil related on the diff tho'

In relation to the LSD and how do you know if you have it question, I have found that in the RS4-S, i can hear the LSD when turning 90 degrees up and out of our underground carpark. I am only doing 5 kph or less and can simply hear the inner tyre going "chirp chirp chirp chirp".

Hope this helps !

    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
    • I am using Motec M150.  I am not working on the car myself actually.  My workshop is giving all these info, they are quite reputable in the industry and are very familiar with Motec and RBs and have done a few big setups with VCam and single turbo on RBs.  In fact, they built and tuned my engine from day one.  But they are stumped with my engine at the moment and cannot work out how come the compression is so low with the VCam. They told me that they have now swapped in some Kelford cams (without the VCam) and can achieve around 130psi compression and the low end torque is better, but now the engine is doughy as.  It boosts and peaks at more than 1000rpm slower, with twin HKS GTIII RS, it doesn't get full boost until over 5000rpm. I have always thought the VCam was a bit disappointing at the low rpm. To a point I had to ride the clutch a fair bit to get up a small hill from stand still.  That was when I had a clutch.  Now changing to a 8HP, I don't have that luxury and this problem has become a major issue. I am beginning to think the VCam never work since the day it was installed.  Maybe it was just sitting at the most advanced point, that is why it went good at top end but very ordinary at the bottom.  Therefore, with the help of the Holinger 6 speed and paddle shift, as long as it was moving, it drove pretty good.
