I just put a series 2 25det into a r33 gts25t '96, and seems to go mint as but i took the boost solenoid out and ran the wastegate hose to the nipple on side of the intercooler, so this should maje it run 7-8psi right? also its gotta filter and split dumpy goin into full 3inch exhuast so i thought it should be runnin more like 10psi? why is it onl running 5 pound boost?

if you are running straight of the actuator then it will be running the actuator boost...

i was running only 6psi when i had no boost controller in the car and running jst of the actuator...

stock they run 5-7 psi... and no it wont be running 10psi... some may argue that installing an exhaust and fmic your boost might increase by 0.5-2psi or something but that didn't happen for me...

personal experience...

some1 else might shed more light to this.. and you will need a boost controller to run higher boost.

cheers

    • Only reason I started replacing hoses was I went for a short drive to the shop the other day and finished shopping and started the car and started to drive off and could see a big trail of fuel in the rear view mirror. Parked up and found the bottom hose to the fuel filter had busted. Lucky I was near a car part store and was able to get a replacement hose and back on the road. But got me thinking I had owned that car for around 20 years and was all original fuel hoses so probably time to replace all of the fuel hoses. Was pretty lucky it went where it did.

    • I was just going to replace the fuel line and keep the stock one, but they do look pretty nice lol.
    • Are you going to delete the stock damper or are you just replacing the fuel lines and keeping the stock damper?  There are also options for sexy ones if the stock one is too ugly for you lol -  https://www.radiumauto.com/Fuel-Pulse-Damper-Inline-Kits-P751.aspx or https://www.radiumauto.com/Fuel-Pulse-Damper-Direct-Mount-Kits-P759.aspx So sexy.
    • I think you guys are right. The only reason I thought it was a restrictor was I had seen the same yellow band on the r32 boost restrictor. Will just replace with a standard fuel hose. Thank you for your speedy replies. I'm sure I'll have many other silly questions.
