I just bought a pair of R33 GTS-T calipers to go onto my R32 GTS ... now to fit them I will require one caliper pin as one was missing ...

Does anybody have a spare caliper pin for a 4 piston caliper lying around that I can buy off them ... I really want to put my New 4 piston calipers on already

All sorted now ... I went to specialty fasteners in fyshwick and got some long ass 6mm bolts and using 2x nuts to secure the bolt so the pads hold securely ...

A little bit of over engineering on my part but trying to find a spare caliper pin to use is pretty hard as none of the Canberra wreckers have any R32,33,z32,s14 calipers and they are not likely to separate 1 pin from the caliper

Yeah specialty fasteners in fyshwick are good for shit like that ... they tend to keep the weirdest sized bolts and such in stock ...

4 bolts and 8 nuts cost me $15 bucks tho but I guess it is quicker than trying to track down 1 caliper pin

The above is very accurate to the R32 GTS brake upgrade as It runs the same brake setup as an S13 Silvia (single piston caliper with 280 mm rotors )

Very very helpful link

As I wish to retain my 4 stud wheels I have to do the following

* Trim up part of the backing plate to fit the larger 296mm rotors (easy)

* Re drill the 5x114.3 R33 turbo rotors to 4x114.3 (only 3 holes need to be drilled in each rotor since it is still a 114.3 pattern

* Longer wheel studs will have to be fitted to the hubs (relatively easy job)

* At least a 5mm wheel spacers to provide clearance for the larger r33 calipers as they foul up on the inside of the front wheels

If you were to widen the track at the front with spacers it is best to do the same to the rear to keep the same front and rear geometry
