Hey, Having just moved here from Sydney I have engineering Certs, but I need to get my car re registered up here and I have the paperwork from the QLD transport and it speaks of Mod plates...?

I have had a look around the forums and couldn't find much, does anyone here have them? I assume I need to get them from engineers or do mechanics do them? How modified does the car have to be to warrant them?

I live in redcliffe so it's a short trip to the city if need be but can someone point me in the right direction.

Cheers!!!

what have you done to the car? if its engine, trans swap them yes you need one. speak to QLD transport and get the local person in redcliffe and talk to them. thats the best way to tackle this.

Cheers, I'll ask round the local shops here, I visited QLD transport once and waited aaaages!

The car was imported with non standard engine, box, suspension, diff, seat, etc so I figure it will need one!
