I was just wondering what exactly these things do?

Do they help with traction?

What else can help traction?

Camber kits can help traction (more surface area on the road on take off for example).

Also you can get new subframe "pineapple" bushes. And decent shocks and springs obviously help.

But most of all

good sticky tyres!

It depends what your current ride height is and if your factory camber adjustment is already at max adjustment.
