Hey all,

Most likely be in Japan from the 20th of May- 31st May. I was wondering if anyone could help me out to find good but cheap accom. If anyone knows some good place that are reasonable priced.

Places im most likely visiting is Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

Also like DRENVY does anyone know if there will be any car events happening during those dates??

My plans are to land in Tokyo spend a few days there doing all the sight seeing then bullet train it down to Kyoto and so forth!

I have been to Japan once before but was about 5 years ago and im taking my brother and 1 of our friends so i want them to enjoy themselves.

Please any idea's will be much appreciated

This is where i want to take them in Tokyo

- Omiri Nismo Factory

- Akiharbra ( electric town )

- Fish Markets ( but have no idea where it is )

- Tokyo Tower

- Some Temples

- Sumo Wrestling ( Dates for that are 10th May- 24th May)

But i would love to know where Autobacs is and Top Secret and Sendai?? ( the drag place ). I know Top Secret is in Chiba but is it hard to get there??

Also hopefully going to HKS in Fuji.

If anyone knows about anything that will be happening either Drift or Drag in any of these areas pls let me know.

And if anyone knows of good hotels that aint too far out that would also help.

mmm good and cheap. I stayed in West Shinjuku and that wasn't cheap but when I went through Shibuya I was sure there were some reasonable ones there. Plus its on the Yamanote line which helps a little. One stop away from Harajuku and the Meiji Shrine, a few stops from Akihabara . The Omori factory requires a change to a local train and a short walk...you cant miss it as long as you look out the window. I used trip advisor for hotels...good site. Chiba is no biggie, 35 minutes in a limited express - Dont catch the local lol takes forever, then a monorail ride to the stadium and a short walk to Chrystal, take a copy of the Top Secret address and ask them politely to call a taxi for you. I met Smokeysan at TAS...quite the PR man, I even bought one of those Ski jackets. This is the short version, do a search using the standard terms and then try Tokyo Auto Salon as well.

You can struggle with a few words of English but it's good to have a few more. GL.

Makudori...I'm planning on going to the Osaka Auto Mess Next year so I'll drop you a line
