fun fact

laser printers produce ozone when they print

no idea how much tho

Anything that makes a spark; generates ozone.

Ozone generators are filled with thousands of tiny conductive filaments inside tubes, and high voltage electricity is fed into them.

This creates a corona-like effect; Basically like lightning in a bottle.

The resulting ozone is drawn off by a fan.

Fun fact No.2; Ozone is extremely toxic, and heavier than air. If trapped in an enclosed space, it displaces oxygen and can kill.

This is why commercial sized Ozone generators are almost always outdoors.

Fun Fact No.3; Ozone is is extremely corrosive. It will eat through 316l stainless tube.

What ozone reminds me of, is when my dad and I got up early and went down stairs to play with the Hornby train set. Heaps of sparks in the old electric motors, and ozone fitting the garage.

:)

Now I am older, I have teh stoopids from brain damage.

Wasted spark ignition, google it karnt. :P

Reckon my old 2.0 Alfa 164 had that on the "other" set of plugs...

I loved that car....

You C34 guys got your rust issue easy compared to that Alfa... And it was one of the more rustproofed ones..
