Hey mate yes it is possible to run in 2wd using a 2wd sump BUT it might requires a modification to the 2wd sump around the oil pickup area im not 100% sure (just check if the pickup is in same position on 2wd and 4wd blocks and if so then your good to use it).

Next u need to take the cv joints out of the front axles (closest to the hubs) and rebolt the stub axles back into the hubs as these hold the wheel bearings in and then just leave the front driveshaft out and bolt the gearbox back on the motor as per normal.

I also think u need 2 lower brackets for the bottom bellhousing bolts but not really a necessity.

thats about all, but it will work i run a 2wd rb30 bottom end in my 4wd stagea and its fine :D

yeah mate the other motor ive got has the brackets it still complet basically just gonna swap the manifolds over and do a timing belt change and service so as far as the oil pick up goes just use the 1 in the r33 s1 rb25det>???

that, have you got msn

??? just wandering if i could give you a call before i go charging out the back and start puttin it all together

just get a sump adaptor and bolt it in.

nice kit but this is only temp while i rebuild the other motor the $900 to get this is a third of the parts cost thanks for the info tho mate much appreciated
