Gtr Inlet Manifold

Hi all.

My car has just blown the gasket between the head and the inlet manifold and i want to know if it is easier to change them with the car on a hoist to reach the bottom of the manifold or any other tips for me as I will be changing them most likely this weekend

If its the standard item its not that hard to do in the car. It will take some time though. It took me about 8 hours to work out how to get to every nut. Get a few 12 mm spanners that you can cut at different lengths and a decent 1/4 inch socket set. Remove all that you can on that side of the engine bay to give as much room as possible. It also might be worth marking where each hose came from.... Dont do what I did and pull the bastard back off because you crossed over a hose!
