there are guys running 400 inch v8s with the very best of cylinder heads and know how from the states using F3R prochargers (1100hp) and are only making about that.

I have nearly finished writing up a pretty definitive supercharger faq. Contains a bit of history, the different supercharger designs, how they work, mounting them, power and general efficiency, some maths for calculating (estimating really) supercharger power draw and gain, plus various other bits and pieces.

Looking for several brave volunteers to go through it for me once its done, warning though its fairly long.

T51 will do it, I don't understand what's with that huge power requirement? It won't make that without some exotic fuel/mix either.

It's worrying that someone with a non turbo is wanting to jump into a 500rwkw powered vehicle on the street. Enough power to turn the treads in 4th, not for the novice
