Rb26 Box Into Gtst

hey hopefully some one can help me out. i just put my rb26 and box in my r32 gtst. just wonting to know how ppl have gone about doin this, wat gear box mount do i use? should i just chop and change the gtr one or put some sort of spacer on the rb20 one. thanks

is your 32 awd or rwd?

i'd say you'll need to get the transfer case removed, or swap to a 25 box if its RWD

I used the standard 32 GTST manual crossmember and added 55mm spacers between the body and crossmember.

The gearbox mount is a 33 gtr item that has been cut up (not sure if r32 mount is the same). Basically I cut away the rubber leaving the metal plate that bolts to the box and tapped 2 holes in it. I used a rectangular piece of nolthane, drilled 2 holes in it to line up with the 2 holes in the crossmember and the 2 holes i tapped in the gtr gearbox mount. It's not running yet so i cant comment on how well it works yet.

PS: the Rb20 mount doesnt come close to fitting on the GTR box

I'm not keen on the position of those stands. :S

I used to place mine there until one day I noticed how much the front end drooped as I released the jack. Probably nothing to worry about but sort of freaked me a little so I now place the stands under the cross member.
