I think this guy is after the ol 'shed' burnouts, reminds me of wankers who pour oil down over speed humps at the local cruising spot here so their minitruck can rip it up yeaaaah. Brakes should not be needed for a burnout in a manual at all.

doing a 1 minute + burnout in an rb will have most of the oil left sitting in the top of the head as the stock returns are not adequate, you will then starve the bottom end of oil and as you say... f**k your engine... get the reply yet?

would love to see u guys rip a straight 1 minute burnout without using the brakes.. without f**king ur engine.. get the question yet?

Noobcake. You have one too many o's, and are missing a K.

No more serious, or even semi-serious replies to this thread - PLEASE

Can moderators close this thread on the fact that it lowers the respect for the entire forum?

This is a car enthusiast website, not about pulling a fully sick 1 minute burnout inside your garage...

P.S. buy cheaper tyres

Now that is a serious post.

Funny interesting fact. If you google "ABS burnout" on the aussie google, this is the first link that comes up :)

Reason i found that, is i was wondering if locking the front brakes up while doing a skid on a ABS car puts stress on the ABS unit.

so what makes doing a line lock in your friends cardboard mansion cool i have to ask? if u wanna smoke em up go out to a burnout comp or better yet learn to drift. stop being a tool line locks cause so much damaging stress on your ride why would you want to.

now turn around so i can slap you in the back of the head

Cawk, cawk...Squawk squawk squawk

just wondering if u can, ma mate owns an r34 wit ab's and when he tries to rip it off the abs will jus kik in.. its manual btw

Squawk squawk squawk......Squawk squawk squawk

you guys aint very helpful.. my brakes stil lock up /shake while tryin to do a 30 second burnout

Cawk, cawk, cawk cawk cawk

I really hate helping people destroy their cars, but for the sake of this twit going away and in the absence of moderators locking the thread:

A. Disconnect or short your rear ABS sensors

OR

B. Disconnect your rear brake lines and block them off

OR

C. Buy a couple of brake bias valves

I too am waiting for the "how do I rebuild my engine/diff/gearbox/car" thread.

My god you really are a noobcake! as if you come on a forum that is serious about the car scene and within your first hanfull of posts you put up this rubbish..

if you really want to bag it up...put your bumper up to your garage wall of your mates mansion and then floor it...

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.

    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
