Hey all,

Just a quick question in regards to rb25 injectors, I removed my fuel rail from the stock s1 rb25 inlet manifold to be fitting this up to a custom manifold I had made, and noticed that on cylinder number 2 injector, the pintle cap had 2 "teeth" or covers removed of four total.

I've heard contradicting stories such as they do affect spray pattern and that they don't... and that they are to stop the injectors from getting dirty, and to stop fuel drying on the injector nozzles.

Can someone please clarify whether this is going to be an issue to continue using as it is? as the injector is proving to be horrible in removing.

Cheers,

Ev.

I'm also wondering as well....two of my recently arrived S15 ones are snapped - do they affect anything?

Can anyone tell me where to buy some new ones in WA?

Do they just slide on and off?

Thanks,

Peter
