Dude, Benga is the king of dubstep.

Would love to see him play. He produces and mixes. Something that aint happening enough. How nice would it be to play your own stuff.

look at the benga detailed interview on youtube. he seems like a level headed guy too.

that is pretty cool steve! not exactly a turntablist, but the mc'ing makes up for it

kinda reminds me of a soulful/deep house dj; chuck love: does all his vocals and some insturments live in his performances. he's played here a few times in the last couple of years, definitely worth a night out to go and see:

edit - the women love it - sooooo much talent at his EC show a couple of years ago

i was close its $3999

However onto the debate (which mind you has been done hundreds of times).. This mixer is brilliant according to the likes of paul van dyk, deadmau5, henrik shwarz, ect they all rave about it.. but thats for them they're all doing semi live or 100% abelton performances, its not so much of a mixer more than a controller, if you're not heavily using abelton live why would you even look at one, let alone comment about it or think about buying one, its built for a purpose, it does that purpose and from what i hear and have seen it does it well. For me i'll stick to the 4 EQs on my 92 thankyou-very-much but for others its a godsend.

I guess my point is this is not a "good" or a "bad" mixer, because well, its not really a mixer, and because of this the debate of 92 or 800 versus 3D is completely stupid.

EDIT

Ive played with a kaos pad before. You can sit there for hours mucking around with it.

Good for live stuff. Hard to remember what you did if you want to play a organised set with it tho.

Had a good night last night. Hope the neighbors are OK. :)

What you don't get the joke?

Turntables are not technically instruments.................... but then I'm old school and cut my teeth on 6 strings playing Rock & Roll.

As a 25yr "veteran" I'm retired and most of my gear now gathers dust.

i play drums, ive been playing since i was about 14. i took some lessons at school, then after just play along to songs by listening to them. i normally jam on weekends with a mate, playing mostly metal stuff.

ive got some guitars too, ill post some pics later!
