Any of the current quad core Intel CPU's matched with 4Gb RAM and an intel chipset based motherboard will do the job. If you're doing all your stuff in the box you won't really have to worry about the quality of the convertors on a audio card, just make sure it has solid ASIO drivers.

Just got Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising (was a big fan of the original)

Game RULES.

Anyone interested in doing 4 man co-op? Remember this game is 1 shot one kill so you'd need headset and mic and a decent connection to ventrillo :stupid:

-D

EDIT - Sorry guys, I posted this in the wrong frigging thread. Mods please move to Computer Jargon :D

that is pretty awesome Steve! is that main guitar actually a recording of your own, or something you've created entirely with the NI guitar rig?

Cheers. :(

All the guitar and bass tracks are my own recording, the drums are samples that I programmed. Guitar Rig isn't a guitar sampler or synth, it's just a guitar amplifier simulator/modeller and effects processor.

Craig, how'd the halloween sessions go last night mate?> i should of asked ya to record the mixes!!!

Hey mate. Was a very big night.

music didnt stop till my sister got alittle pissed of :( around 4am.

Really good night. Few quiet ones from now on I think.

First night using a DJM700. what a mixer mate. Real nice. and a CDJ400.

Edited by PREISS

haha awesome!

shit, a 700 (digital 600 basically) and a 400? thats a couple of $k right there....!!!!

i'm definitely considering 400's when its time to venture into CDJ land, the 1000's are just so bloody expensive... but probably worth every cent though.

that 700 must have some f'ing great features

had the DJM400 mixer. plus 700. two CDJs100s and a CDJ400 on the desk. I liked looking at the setup more than playing it haha.

yeah real nice features. Some I didnt wanna play around with too much at the risk of being too messy.

Might be selling the DJM400 soon. great mixer. good features but really wanna save for a 800

yeah i know what you mean - thats the thing when i've used the big pioneers - i just play with what i know, faders, EQs and maybe a little effect here and there. But i have no idea how to use the samplers etc. Sucks because you're not really using it to its full capabilities!

pioneer gear holds value very well, you should get a decent $ return when you sell your 400

not really at this stage. one mate of mine (whos supposed to be coming with me to that dubstep night) would have probably been keen, but he's moving back overseas for two years shortly. But i will definitely ask him!

Another one of my tracks, really rough at the moment because I got bored with it. I do like some of the riffs in this one though....

nice pentatonic solo midway

makes me wanna jam with ya, but im nowhere near as good as u are lols

-D

Cheers :P Not my fav part in there and I'm no good at it anymore either...LOL!

problem for me is i used to do jazz/blues piano as a kid so my brain is stuck in the open e pentatonic most of the time haha

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
