how to fix stall problem

my car keep stalling sometimes.

and i got unstable idling as well

(because of the aftermarket BOV)

is there any ways of fixing it??

or change back to standard BOV.

Ive found that my computer has learnt overtime about my BOV. Used to stall all the time, then gradually overtime just wore off.

How long have you had it on for? Maybe put your idle up just a tad more.

Standard OV is ok for running upto about 12psi. Anything over that and it begins to leak. To solve the problem, get a plumb back BOV but you may find that it may stall a little still.

do you mean the HKS idle stablizer??

that one cost aus$190 in japan

i think it would be more in here.....

i was about to install one, but my mach. have the wrong model. and when find out the cost. i think i rather buy plumb back BOV....

by the way, my BOV is a plumb back and venting. does it help if i connect the hose to the BOV??

Guys,

There is a simple fix

at the rear of the inlet there is a screw adjustment (Near the brake booster) winding it out a little has fixed the stalling on the three cars that I have done this to.

One of the cars I did this to had unstable idle problems and this procedure fixed that as well..

this may not fix your problem as this is an air ratio adjustment at idle (only) depands on weather your car is stalling due to being too rich or not.
