hey ppls

ive got one of those surge protector outlet board thingies and it has a hole for the tv ariel to go into.

I was going to connect a double adaptor to the wall outlet so i could connect the ariel to 2 tv's.. but can i put the double adaptor after the surge protector so both tv's are protected ?? or will it reduce the quality heaps.. or something.. ??

thanks

Not a electrical engineer, but I think they should be both protected, not sure of any negatives from that (other than the more connections there is, the weaker the signal will be).

Its similar to like plugging in another basic power board to your surge protector board, so all the stuff connected to that board will be protected also.

one other question.... perhaps some smart person could answer - which is better for connecting laptop to a tv, svideo or vga cable ?

VGA.

Is the TV you are talking about a LCD/Plasma or old CRT? I assuming LCD/Plasma as not many CRT TVs had VGA input (I have only seen was some "HD" Panasonic widescreen CRT TVs that had VGAs).
