Rb20 Making A "wooo" Sound When Rpm's Get Higher

Hey i recently just took my car for a service and now my cars making a "woooo" sound when the revs go up. there was also a little bit of oil in the engine bay. Any ideas?

Woo like a Fan spinning too quickly?

Check yr radiator fan spins freely with the engine off and not bound up.

That Woooo sound is from your fan can also be your pulleys, condensers, pumps and etc spooling up. as long as every thing's working its not a major issue to worry about.

everything seems to b working fine but.. pulled off the air filter and checked the turbo

wot u rkn? when the car is turned off i can hear a kinda scraping coming from the turbo as its slowing down.. i took the air filter off and gave it a spin and it duznt seem to b scraping at all though

If you can spin it with your hand fast enough you can hear it. Turbo probably needs a new bearing catridge.

whats a bearing cartrige guna set me back? isit a big issure or is the car still drivable?

We currently buying at $380 each with the rest of the turbo. Take it to your local MTQs stores, They will be able to clean your turbo bits, fit new bearing cartridge and give you some advise so you don't come back with the same problem.

ohh thank god i thort it was a problem, im guna take it out now and redline the fk out of it for a few hours

bit of white smoke @ the start.. but nowhere else, the car was already warm it was only sitting for abt 10 mins

she aint spinning with the engine off start the motor and everything is fine though

Almost sounds like the clutch fan, hard to tell fully in the vid.
