hey im wondering if its safe to do a dyno run without my coilpacks bolted down, reason for this is to save time, ill have roughly 1 hour to get the car on the dyno.. unbolt the coilpacks chuck some new ones on, then put it on the dyno again.

is there a chance the coilpack could pop off at high revs? and if it did what would be likely to happen? will i be risking my engine?

if it may be an issue i could always just bolt in one of the screws to save a bit of time.

Just leave the center valley cover off and unbolt them. The bolts only take a second or two. One bolt would be fine, and maybe that's what I would do. Worst case though, I don't see how it could hurt anything other than making it miss on the dyno.

Get your hands on a pair of the coilpack brackets, that way you only have to undo 3 (or is it 5) bolts and you can lift all of the coilpacks out at once, then have your other coilpacks already bolted down to the brackets and swap them over.
