* LOW MOUNT - GT3582R (T3 SINGLE ENTRY) - TURBOSMART 50mm EXTERNAL GATE - RB25DET - R33

I'll get it ceramic coated at Hi-Octane along with my turbine housing when I get that done.... STILL $1050 ??

YES you didnt read wrong - LOW MOUNT.

im sure we can ship OS but it wont be for the 1050. what type of manifold are you interested in?

Highmount, For a t3-t4 with a tial 44 mm ext wastegate. for a rb25det R33

I'm not sure to understand the option about the coating.

wen have to do a coating? at 1050 there aren't ready to install?

You can send me a price by pm with the info if you want to

the coating option is an extra some people get but you dont need to get it. it just keeps heat inside the manifold better thus increasing air velocity.

if u just get the manifold its fine to bolt straight on.

can you please PM me the address you would like delivery on please

By coating, it's referring to ceramic coating, it lowers under bonnet (hood) temperatures by as much as 30-40 % as it retains the heat inside the exhaust system. The expanding HEAT ENERGY is what drives the turbocharger and NOT exhaust pressure as what a lot of us are led to believe - which is also the reason why the shorter the primaries the more efficient the turbo and why people try not to make them too long as this allows the exhaust flow to cool down too much to be of any use... so the more heat we keep inside the exhaust system, the more energy is available to spin the turbine wheel.

It also gives a nice consistent shiny appearence.

Im getting the turbo housing of my Garrett GT35R AND the manifold prepared in this process so I dont need to use that ugly heat wrap that gets dirty as soon as somebody touches it with greasy hands.......

  • 2 weeks later...
is this group buy still on?

i'd need to know the price to ship overseas to the states

im interested in a top mount T4 single entry external gate for an rb25

hey moogle.

just spoke to kyle and he said he delievery to the states would be $210AUD.

his even willing to hook you up on importing tax so you dont pay extra. not sure how it works but he said his more then happy to put on the invoice a lower a price so you dont have to pay higher importing taxes. but youll only be insured for how much u want on the invoice.

so youll still have to pay the manifold price + $210AUD, but on the invoice his happy to put $200AUD so you dont pay higher importing taxes. but if anything goes missing youll only be insured for $200 bux.

pretty good deal if your up for it.....you should tell any of your mates who are interested!

hmmm, dont count me in just yet though

i think i may be better off just getting a US made LoveFab at that price

thanks anyway, let me know if you get enough peoeple and i'll let you know if i still want it or not

    • My idle is set at 950rpm though - Moving the timing around 20 degrees is not really what I'd call a calm idle. That said... neither is chop, by definition. The LS ECU likes to adjust timing to hold idle as opposed to air. It'd work, but generally speaking there'd be a discrepancy in the base idle and the IACV would want to move the timing around anyway to maintain said idle. I think I'm just going to keep the timing steady anyway. Preserve my engine mounts.  My aircon is now officially regassed. As the guy was reversing I noticed my reverse lights do not operate, along with my reverse cam. This is a bit distressing, because 100% of guides talk about which wire to connect to backup cams as "the goes with the [other color] wire". Often when doing conversions. Unfortunately the R34 colour wires aren't documented Unfortunately I had a T56 Magnum gearbox with it's reverse switch, which also isn't documented. Unfortunately there's definitely not documentation for people with both of these in the one car. Unfortunately I forgot. After many hours of this, I have a reverse cam and reverse lights again. The wire going through the trans tunnel to the reverse switch had broken. Upon inspection, it looks like this one wire had about 7 spade terminals and extensions in it.. for reasons I cannot possibly comprehend. I also spent the 750 hours required to clean up the wiring behind my head unit which now looks like this: This is a monumental improvement relative to what used to be there WRT triple gauges, head unit, traction control, wideband controller, and whatever the f**k OEM stuff still exists there in various states of connectivity/needed. Next step is to check in at the Exhaust shop to see/confirm how much clearance I have, to decide what mid mufflers or 'resonators' (which are just straight through, narrower mufflers) I can add and hopefully cut out a lot of exhaust leaks, pinhole, v-band or otherwise. But first step will be to 'take a look' before the next step.
    • Fark the AFM card and Nistune, Haltech Nexus S3, DBW, cruise control, flex fuel, dis dat.
    • It's most likely the bolt/bush where the cover bolts back wore and allowed cover to move forward.
    • Still haven't put the injectors and R35 AFM in so we can tune the bloody thing for the HG highflow it got mid last year! I think I can forecast the upgrade path to a bigger twin scroll, external gate, Haltech, flex setup, Samsonas, dis dat, etc will be .... a while away!
    • Should have taken that opportunity to slot in a twin scroll turbo setup. Maybe next time.
