Hey all, relatively new to the V35's (2months) but i could of sworn that the car would automatically lock its doors (say after 30seconds) after turning off the ignition and closing the doors. But lately i don't think it happens anymore.

Was i imagining things or did i stuff something up?

haha. don't worry! i think ur mind is ok!! haha

when u use ur control key to unlock the door and did not open the door (or forgot to open the door, haha) then it will automatically lock it after 30 secz...

for other situation im not sure~ lol~ :D

clarify your post a bit.

the above is true IF you unlock your car with the OEM remote and NOT open the car. its a safety/theft thing built in to the car. nothing to do with ignition though. what I said related to the doors locking on speed.

I've read this somewhere, can't remember where now, but you can activate this by a series of button presses on your OEM fob key, I've done this and now it automatically locks, BUT doesn't do this if you've just turned off the car and get out and walk away. I've found that it will only do this if you say pressed unlock at some stage and THEN walked away from your car, about 30sec later it will auto lock. Also note if you have an Autowatch added alarm system it does not arm it.

Hope this helps :P
