Hi there dose anyone out there have experince with the Clarion VRX486VD. All I wanted to do is have a DVD playing while driving, i know there's a handbreak wire which i dont know where it should go, on a 34 anyone know, please help

If you want to watch DVD's while driving, just connect the handbrake wire directly to ground. (the black wire from the headunit will be the easiest spot)

so the wire for the handbreak it's just another ground wire? If so cant it be joint to the black wire?

if that don't work put a switch. run the wire for the handbrake to the switch then the switch to a grounding point

also a on off button if you see cops

i have just install the indash dvd tonight, however i found the handbreak cable it no just earth, it's like it need to sense the power then earthing it, then i will display the video, how do i get around it?

me and my mate installed one of them last week u need to put a switch on the handbrake cable then all will be good

so what you are saying just cut the wire and use a 2 wire switch between them?
