you could of brought a r33 gtr. or buy an r32 gtr for around the 16 mark (depending on where u find it and condition) build it up to the price u bought ur r34 gtt at. and haha biggg difference. ITS impossible to compare a gtt to a gtr. there is no competition when it comes down to it. eeiko and beelze are exactly right. your comparing 2 different cars

and yours with the vq30 in it. would of cost you a fair bit on just buying the engine and fitting it. and i bet u, youd still be put on show from a gtr. so i think your the one whos been spanked by a gtr and are upset over it.

VQ30 was around 2k and I did most of the work myself, I'd say less than 10k with turbos and tuned.

And I'm not talking about a R34 GTT compared to a R32 GTR...that's just idiotic. Not that I would expect any less from people on the forums, I've been on here scince 2003, and it's gone downhill since.

Own house, own car..no parents supporting me, I did it all myself, started at 16.

I think what needs to be at hand is him and me (the GTT boys with no GT-R) one day when we have our drag days you put out GTT's up against your GT-R's and that goes for track too!

Then at the end of the day this will be settled and whoever comes out the winner wether it be a GTT or a GT-R can say..."well hey its stil a GT-R"

Im sure the majority of GT-R's out there are brilliant and hey its one of my favourite cars of all time! And if someone offered me a GT-R id take it! I'd bend over and recieve payment that way for one! But hey...in terms of build price etc...they have the same shell blah blah so i chose to go for the GT-T....and over time as the quality and the parts come together...the more fun i have with it and the more i grow with my car.

As soon as its finished i don't think there will be many GT-R's i would rather own than my GT as the other guy stated...and hes quite well in saying so...he got his car up to the level he desired and spent what he wanted to without having what everyone else has....and he did it himself, i dont see whats wrong with that at all other than the fact it turned into a yuelling match between whats better and whats not.

Anyhow my goal is to deliver 500RwKw to the rears and have an amazing track/drag car set up (not too much into the drifting, but im sure with that much power ill be drifting down the drag anyhow )

That being said this thread can go on forever and ever...Skyline owners arguing among skyline owners looool....why cant it just be all our skylines are good we all have the same idea behind them and will not settle for a holden commodore (even though i have one of them too ) lol

I did when i had 370rwkw though i must admit, that was fairly useless on the track and street (running street tyres).

However ~300rwkw with good suspension, tyres and so on... i reckon its a very good combo that i've setup now as a streeter. I look forward to taking it for another run in a few months and see what i can do in full street trim, low 12's would make it one of the faster daily driven cars around.

I say that because most people race on semi's in RWD, and in which case i would be well into the 11's equipped with that kinda rubber

I personally think that the R33 and R34 look like boats compared to the R32 and HR31, but I don't go blathering on about it and trying to stereotype the owners (ESPECIALLY DERAILING A THREAD IN THE PROCESS).
