Not sure what its doin here, but just in front of my house there is a blue FD RX7 with the plates of SSEXYY or along the lines of that, it was there last night at about 12ish when I got home. My brother tells me he heard some really strange noises a bit earlier. I just got home from work about half hour ago (15 hours later) and its still there.. On a blind corner as you come down the road. Almost hit it last night! :P Nothing seems to be damaged on it, but its covered in a very fine dust... Like you would have after either driving down a dirt road or I guess parking your car near a dirt car park for many many days. To me it just seems wierd a car like that would be treated this way.. Besides the big chromies on it..! LOL! :P

Just hope it doesnt belong to someone that someone knows on here! Or if it does and it has been stolen then thought I'd let them know about it and get the word out about it somehow!

Sorry if I wasted peoples time! Just trying to help.. :D

yea he could be looking for someone to steal it to claim insurance but then wouldnt he park it infront of a buisness or something more sketchy :)

another thing maybe see if the doors are locked/alarm on, normally stolen cars get left with unlocked doors.

2hr window of cover up opportunity  ftw

The people demand closure.........

far out man you easy going if you still got the car out the front.

i was in a accident and landed on the Council bit of grass with the car stuck in a tree. was wedged so bad the tow truck had to yank it out for 15min. first thing house owner says to me while im pissing out blood "you cant leave your car there" "your going to have to move ya car" said it to me like 5 times made up 90% of what he said.

    • Hi all. I need some help buying the correct size banjo bolts for my 2860 turbos. Because whoever installed them tore up the original part, I ordered new ones of this kind, because I just figured these were the most leak-resistant option as I already had trouble with a shitty braided line. I need to know the thread size of the smaller left hole, that is the turbo oil feed connection. I found out so far that the turbo oil inlet apparently has a 7/16"-24 thread, but I cannot find any listing or description of the thread size on this line. I do not have the original bolts. I tried using the bolts that were in the turbos (the ones that were mounted with the shitty braided line) but they sit very loosely so they can't be the right thread. Means either these bolts are the wrong ones (how do they fit the turbo then? no clue) or the wraparound-lines have a different thread than the turbo oil feed itself. Help is appreciated, asking Nissan directly is obviously not going to work.
    • EDIT: PSA to whoever stumbles upon this thread. It is in fact a crack in the block that caused this concern. Just letting you know. In my case, a few cm long hairline crack going horizontally above the turbo oil feed. Classic RB shit I guess
    • Might as well pop in some cams, head gasket, head studs, and a flex sensor. Full send.
    • Yeah I spent close to a year finding one. I was even tempted to buy a RB25DE N/A head and port it out. That latter option, could still be an option.
    • My head recently blew up on the dyno, been trying to find a replacement for the last 3 months with no luck.  Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Willing to chase down any leads at this point  Cheers
