i used to own a type S. all i could see that was diffrent as far as i no. Is you get a LSD and a rear window wiper. i no theres more to them but thats the main things i think. I noticed mine was a type S when i first picked it up, and started driving along..... pulled up at a set of lights, took off hard all the way to the rev limy in 1st and than snaped 2nd and dumped it, And weeeeee the ass end steped right out and cracked back just as quick.

I liked that car hehe

Cheers

- Extra 10 hp 200hp vs 190hp

- Uses 0.6L/100 more 10.2 vs 9.6 per 100kms freeway driving

- LSD as standard, (LSD is an option on non type s)

- 40kg heavier than non type s

- Rear wiper standard (option on non type s)

my NA has the rear wiper and had the variable flap thingo in the rear muff too......if its a type s there sure as hell isnt anything else on the car anywhere else that says its a type s lol.

You can check your chassis number. If its non turbo and starts with E-ECR33 then you have a type S. If its E-ER33 then you have a standard R33 non turbo.

along with the already mentioned differences is the type s has hicas and a rear sway bar, where the non type s don't, also the badges on the front guard are different colours, type-S has the red GT badges where's the non type S has blue.

Mine's a type S but its got blue badges......

I thought red badge = turbo, blue badge = NA?

yea mine has the type s chassis number and the red GT badges. i always thought the previous owner just put the red GT badges on there haha.

im pretty sure that your previous owner put those red badges on, as red = turbo and blue = NA.

cheers
