Boost Guage Light

Hi guys

Can anyone where to connect the light? for some reason the previous owner took light out. I know it has to connect to the lights but where is the best place?

cigarette lighter, it is a red wire from memory.

I think there is two red ones but, so:

1) Ground the groud wire

2) Stick the positive wire in one of the red wires where the cigi lighter is, if it stays on constatly, its the other one (One wire is a constant direct 12V feed, where as the other one works from the light switch)

or splice it into the park lights so it comes on with everything else

when connected to the cigarette lighter it comes on with all the lights when the parkers/headlights are turned on.
