Yeah its Auto

didnt turn me off it too much after i had a good look and added all the extras up

well the guy i brought it off said that when he got the exhaust and boost controller etc fitted, they told him it had been hi-flowed in japan (seeing he was 2nd owner of car)

and the guy i bought it off didnt care too much about power etc, its only ever been on 10psi, he just wanted reliability .. mainly a work car A to B

he never drove in rain unless he had to and opon further investigation i can fairly confidently say hes never done a burn out in the time he's owned the car

it would justify its power too, ive been in a a few R33s and mine is by far the most torquey, most powerful, even tho its an auto, ive beat 2 other R33s that were manual turbo.

So something is definately good :D

Shes getting a little rough in the higher revs at the moment, been awhile since a service ide say, getting it done ASAP

So, again, can someone give me the Number/Address of the Gavin woods auto tech place...

Also, can someone tell me how to take the back seet out?

I have the common Tien type NR back left 'bump' problem where i need to fit a lock nut.

Yeah its missing the 400R rear, ive seen it with and without, trust me it looks alot meaner without :)

ive had a number of people just walk up to me and give me props and ask me stuff bout the car, advantages of a skyline :(

Im loving it, my life literally revolves around my car now

Could the cord under the seat be for the seatbelt?

I'm thinking it sends the signal to the dash which lights up if you unbuckle the belt.

I read/heard somewhere you can plug this in again after the seat belts have been changed to comply with the laws in Australia?

If I recall, to take the rear seat out there are 3 bolts holding the base of the seat down. These are located below the line of the seat. I think you have to give it a strong pull to get it off.

There should be a thread about this in the car audio section relating to removing the parcel shelf to install rear speakers.

Take a look at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...t=remove+parcel as it mentions a bit about removing stuff from the back seat area.

Thanks mate, just read that, great thread

another question ive got

when we got RACQ test done

they found that 2 bolts/studs on the right front wheel have snapped or lost thread or something and they wont come off i dont think, so i went to whynnum manly nissan and ordered a few sets of Studs and nuts, he told the parts centre my VIN number car type model etc

just wondering if anyones done this?

obviously i can get nissan to take old ones out and fit new ones too, i mean it is an import, and we all know how much local dealers hate imports, but its something as simple as the wheel studs and nuts

studs were like $8 and nuts $2 or maybe the other way around ?

so i grabbed 4 so i got some spare.

I want to get 100thou service done this week if i can, if i can get the address for this Gavin Woods place in labrador ill drive out there have a look for myself and book it in. Need some tubes/cords/wires replaced too, not necessity, but ide like them replaced.

That removing back seat thread mentions noise in back left of car, i too have this, not all the time, but sumtimes, and its not the spare (crazy think space saver!) or the jack, cos i took both out including spare shelf and cover and the noise is still there

ive found a common thing with the TYPE NR teins suspensions - making a loud thump sumtimes in the back left

i really want to get this fixed, also i had a look as my suspension, there are indented rings around the green tein shafts, im assuming these are the adjustable levels.. there are 4

my 2 front are on the 3rd level

my 2 rear are on the 2nd level

?

INASNT: hehe your probably right, just the way the car is setup at the moment her curves look fit, and go fit :D

ran outta time today to book car into auto tech, will call them first thing tommorow morning, my babies starting to get a little lumpy

:)

i dont think sparks or oil have been changed for atleast 10,000

so i want full 100thou service

Timing belt, fuel filter, oil filter, oil change, NGK platinum sparks, radiator flush etc

might get a airbox fabricated if i can too, the pod is just sitting there at the moment, no sheild just sucking in hot air from the engine :P not good

put Optimax in today, seems to run better than Ultimate

wont know for sure till this service is done, i have $500 on the dot to spend

500 should be heaps.. dont bother getting an airbox fabricated, just get a partition for your air pod. Also get the air pod inspected to see if it is one of those deals that needs replacing.

What kind of pod is it? Apexi are obviously the best pods.. best filtration, best air flow and never need replacing.

"3" turbo back Jasman/Jasmine exhaust"

JASMA, is an association (and regulatory body? not sure), not a brand. It could be anything, Trust, Apexi, etc - someone here probably has one the same and will be able to tell you.

"High Flowed"

Is often an abused term - sometimes it means "the turbo(s) busted and we got them rebuilt".

If the car really is significantly faster than manual r33s, yet relatively unmodded - then I'd suggest the first thing to look at is the ecu.

enjoy!

hmm indeed an inspiring reply daioni,

ill be getting auto tech to confirm my statements and have a general look to see what other goodies she does/doesnt have

i was under the impression that r33 series one had the ECU under the pasenger side footrest or somewhere abouts there

i have something that looks extremely like an ECU up under my back parcel shelf about 20cm from the battery ?

will take pics and try and figure out what this is, unless ofcourse its meant to be there.. anyone? what is it?

attached another pic, front this time, i hate having to resize, takes away the full potential of the photo

owell
