Gear Box To Support Big Power

Hey guys,

Over the next couple of months i'll be looking for a gearbox to support my RB26/30 build. Will be pushing out over 400kw in the end so i want a box that will hold up. Car will be used for Track, street and occasional Drags.

Budget is roughly 6-8k

Im thinking maybe a Getrag, but ive seen some HKS gearboxes come up on the auctions.

What would you guys recommend?

I'll have to find out how much they cost. Dont wanna be spending huge amounts, under 10k would be nice.

If people are using Getrags and supporting 500kw i'll use one.

Another option is buying the OS-Giken gearsets.

If I was you I would forget PPG they are hopeless... I have got 2 of them in both my cars and they are Sh*T. I would recommend Modena enginering in Melbourne awesome product and would you believe Simon Pfitzner used to work for Modena thats how he got his knowledge...

Stay away from PPG.
