what is it with people saying the goods they are selling are brand new all the bloody time. How stupid do you think people are. Are these people trying to say that they buy all this shit and then sell it without using it. Im sure this might be the case sometimes, but really...

Me thinks there is some shananigans going on.

This is not directly linked at you MRZac but all people claiming their goods are new. And if they are new then me thinks they are imprting these goods to then sell them locally at marked up price.

Hi Improvise

I agree with you, whilst parts can look new it is not hard to put them in the box (which you would prob still have) and call them new. This can be disconcerting for buyers as parts like these, if kept in good condition, can look new yet had alot of use.

All the products I have have never been fitted to a vehicle and never even taken out of the packaging. The parts have come direct from Japan and were never intended for use by myself personaly.

I welcome any inspections of the products prior to sale as they are brand new and I only buy good quality parts.

I believe the prices listed are quite reasonable considering they are brand spankers, I wouldnt have bothered posting them if I didnt expect there to be good level of interest.

All the Trust Turbo Timers are now sold, still have two Trust shift knobs for $59 each (these sell for over $90) and an SAFC2 for $549. The HKS Filter kits have been reduced to $200.

0407286697 if anyone has any enquiries, will COD anywhere.

I have 1 Trust Shift Knob in Red for $59 and 2 HKS R33 GTSt Air Filter Kits for $200 left. All the other items have now been sold. All of these are barnad new in sealed packaging.

Thanks

Zac

Can I get some more details on the shift knob? You say it's the heavy version but diamond shaped, on that link the heavy version is round not diamond shaped? Also it's not real clear on the site if the heavy one uses small allen key type bolts to attach or if it screws on like the OEM version. If it's the lighter aluminium ones, these screw on like normal.

I don't suppose anyone has any pics of what they look like in the car? It's hard to tell how big they are just by themselves.

Hi JimX

Here is a pic of the Trust shift knob as you requested. I dont open the packaging so unfortunately I dont have any pictures of them installed.

These shift knobs thread onto the original shifter, like the original part. No allen keys are required at all, just a firm grip!

They are about the same size of the OEM shift knob but are heavier. As R33 Shift knobs are made of leather and are quite light, the heavier weight makes the shift feel more positive. S13s have a heavy OEM shift knob, and the difference can be noticed when a lighter aftermarket unit is used instead.

They are around 60mm by 35mm at a guess I would say and weigh about 250grams. I have one left with the red top if you are interested.

For anyone that is interested in one of the gear knobs i say take it for sure.

I just got one of the white ones and it screws straight onto an r33 gear stick and looks real good.

changing gears is also much better because its heavier than the standard knobs.

Thanks Zac for the speedy delivery. I paid today so the money should be arriving soon.

Cheers

Luke

Foshan, can you take a pic of yours in the car? I'm umm'ing and ah'ing over this, but if it looks good enough I'll probably get one. The last one might be sold by the time I make a decision but at least I'll know for the next time one comes along (or I can just get one from Greenline or Nengun :))

    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
    • I am using Motec M150.  I am not working on the car myself actually.  My workshop is giving all these info, they are quite reputable in the industry and are very familiar with Motec and RBs and have done a few big setups with VCam and single turbo on RBs.  In fact, they built and tuned my engine from day one.  But they are stumped with my engine at the moment and cannot work out how come the compression is so low with the VCam. They told me that they have now swapped in some Kelford cams (without the VCam) and can achieve around 130psi compression and the low end torque is better, but now the engine is doughy as.  It boosts and peaks at more than 1000rpm slower, with twin HKS GTIII RS, it doesn't get full boost until over 5000rpm. I have always thought the VCam was a bit disappointing at the low rpm. To a point I had to ride the clutch a fair bit to get up a small hill from stand still.  That was when I had a clutch.  Now changing to a 8HP, I don't have that luxury and this problem has become a major issue. I am beginning to think the VCam never work since the day it was installed.  Maybe it was just sitting at the most advanced point, that is why it went good at top end but very ordinary at the bottom.  Therefore, with the help of the Holinger 6 speed and paddle shift, as long as it was moving, it drove pretty good.
