Garett Gt3071 R Turbo

Ive been doing research on the forum as to what turbo im going to go with to upgrade my rb25 and I still havent found my answer. Ive got down to either a garett gt3071 0.71 or a gt3076r 0.82 or 0.71.

Now im looking for in future 300kw max and I dont want to much lag, so which turbo would do the best job for me and also what will the difference be if between the 0.82 and 0.71 housing.

well you wont get 300rwkw out of a gt3071. You can with gt3076r in 0.82 housing. Mine gets full 19psi boost in forth on the dyno by 3900rpm.

Not sure what type of housing the 0.71 is but the garret is 0.63 and you would probably expect to be 500rpm at most less laggier then the 0.82

I have the 3071 with .82 Garrett housing and the best I can do is 264kws @ 18lbs. You need the 3076 or bigger but bigger means lag. 3076 is perfect.
