Brand New Dark Blue Falcon number plates - 935 ICX

I dont really care if ur reading this officer but i think what u do is ****en rude as these people are picking there kids up from school, not causeing a traffic obstruction, and u guys tell me ur not revenue raising.

I Know for sure they had a wrx in central queensland. I got phased out very quickly because if the nature of our town up here. They were pretty good in say the streets of sydney, but where the roads are open up here they said they were useless.

Police dont swap numberplates from car to car.

Last night i got pulled up for an RBT and the Breath Tester had flat batteries. So i had to wait around until another officer could drop a new one to them how ever long that took, and of course it was a 0.0 reading.

I got told the other day it been made a rule now, if you get pulled over you must have a breath test. For the simple reason, if they dont, u go down the raod and run into someone/thing and they get hurt, it dosent fall back on the police that pulled you over.

i dunno how true that is, i got pulled up not an hour ago and got stung for not having my licence cause the prick couldnt do me for nething else, how am i sposed to produce it if i lost my ****en wallet and im going to report it stolen this afternoon. My mum is writing an official letter to contest, im not worried but the 75 buck fine or the one point, just pissed off that the prick actually fined me for it, its bad enough loosing my wallet, with my various licence's important details, bankcards and the rest, but then i get ****en fined for it.

Dude that just bites,

just when you think they have reached a new low, they surprise us time and time again.

I will put this down as definite for Brand New Dark Blue Falcon number plates - 935 ICX you.

i dont live in brissy but we come down for a cruise everynow and again from rocky in my brothers siliva, 80STN, it a neat "Q" siliva with just the usually 18's no body kit. Usually to coenside with the drift weekend a willowbank. (Drift good) And after seeing the amount of cops down there i was fully shocked, they were just everywhere, you could not move with out getting in trouble, in all truth you would think that dont have anything better to do, maybe they should try catching some real crooks rather than bothering us

They are just doing their job.

After just resigning from 3 years of service with the QPS, there are some really good cops out there, but their are some bad ones as well. Just think if you went to work and then ended up having to find a dead body in a house (been locked up in the heat for 2 days) I was told by one copper that this is the worst thing he's come across. The smell, the flies, the everything.... It's a tough job, and they are tough people to get out and do that job.

There are different departments within the QPS, one of them being the STTF. Just like theirs the JAB, CIB, Prostitution Bureau and many more. We normally don't hear about any of these things because they are normally involved in court cases and underage people.

What ever is going to get the QPS the best public publicity, and recognition, they are going to do it.

Are we meant to be quoting hoon squad cars? Or just general undercover police vehicles. I can tell you right now that some of the vehicles posted above ARE service vehicles, but are cars that the heads of sections use as a personal vehicle.

3 of my mates have been pulled over and had there cars impounded and loss of liscence.

One was a 180SX white.

2nd. VL Turbo which was funny enough one of the cars that I saw get impounded around 3 months ago when we went for some racers. So they could be using u'r cars as well.

the 3rd was a WRX Blus with Gold mags.

Never got any number plates but i know the WRX is on the northside, aspley area.

Also Sandgate have a shed that they are working on 2 cars one is a PINK magna and the other is a RED WRX. These cars are going to be worked to be very fast cars.

Hey

In the Holland Park Area

There is a silver xr6 turbo with the no. plate "TRI 23" on the brace yourself background.

Also there is a while SS current shape that goes up and down logan rd especially in the afternoons

There is also a blue WRX not sure of the plates

The white ss was next to me at the lights and he accelerated hard to try and get a response back from me....i caught up and just shook my head at them.

    • I know this one’s the BB one. My tuner did make mention about the actuator. I am curious about the VCT as well
    • Might also needs a stronger actuator with the right preloading. With older 2019 built bush G3 units, BB upgrade or 21U housing down size makes a pretty decent gain in response as well.
    • Hey lads  so im finally putting together my rb30 forged bottom end and ran into an issue. I measured my main bearing clearance with arp main studs torqued to 60 ft-lbs using ACL H series STD size bearings and standard, un-ground crank shaft journals and got an oil clearance reading of about 1.3 thou measuring straight up and down and about 2.8 thou measuring at a 45 degree angle (just above and below the parting line). My machine shop said they measured the main tunnel and it was all within spec (they didnt say the actual measurement) and to go with a standard size bearing, which i have done and the clearance is too tight, I'm guessing because of the extra clamping force from the arp studs distorting the main tunnel. I was wanting to run about 2.5 thou main bearing clearance.  My questions are: 1. could i just use the HX extra 1 thou clearance ACL bearings? that would fix my straight up and down clearance making it about 2.3 thou, but then would the side to side clearance be too big at around 3.8 thou? 2. what actually is the recommended main bearing clearance for measuring near the parting line / side to side. i know its supposed to be bigger as the bearing has some eccentricity built into it but how much more clearance should there be compared to the straight up and down measurement? at the moment there is about 1.5thou difference, is that acceptable or should it be less? 3. If i took the engine block + girdle back to the machine shop and got them to line bore the main tunnel (like i told them to do the first time, but they said it didnt need it) what bearing size would i buy? the STD size bearing shells already slide in fairly easily with no real resistance, some even falling out if i tip the girdle up-side-down. If im taking material out of the main tunnel would i need a bearing with extra material on the back side to make up for it? this is probably confusing af to read so if something doesn't make sense let me know and ill try explaining in a different way. My machine shop doesn't come back from christmas break until mid January, hence why i'm asking these questions here. TIA for any help or info
    • I bought the model back in Japan in Feb. I realised I could never build it, looked around for people who could build it, turns out there's some very skilled people out there that will make copies of 1:1 cars or near enough. I'm not really a photo guy... but people were dragging me in a group chat for the choice of bumper as someone else saw the car before it was finished as they are also a customer of that shop. I took the photo in the above post because I was pretty confident that the lip would work wonders for it. Here's some more in-progress and almost-done pics. It gives a good enough idea as to what the rear looks like!   I have also booked in a track day at the end of January. Lets all hope that is nothing but pure fun and games. If it's not pure fun and games, well, I've already got half an engine spare in the cupboard
    • Well, do ya, punk? Seriously though, let's fu<king go! The colour and kit looks amazing on the car. Do you have any shots from the rear? I don't quite follow how the model came around. You bought the white kit and he modified it to match your car? Looks nuts either way!
