hi everyone

i have blown my sr and instead of replacing it im putting a neo rb25 in it and i have purchased the motor already but it came with no wiring loom i have a r33 rb25 loom spare and im wonedring if i can use that loom i know a couple of plugs mite be differant but i have downloaded the loom diagram for both motors and they are the exact same. i was hoping to do the wiring myself because i have done it a few times and have a fair idea on what to do.

for the intercooler setup i know that i cant run the intercooler pipe imbetween the radiator and the front of the motor so i was going to purchase the greddy inlet mani but i heard that ( i think ) its the traction control setup on throttle body causes a bit of grief doing that.

and i heard that the rb20 yoke for the gearbox is the exact same as the s14 sr box so i was going to run an rb20 box because i had an r32 drift car before that that had a 25 that was making 279 kw and it only had a 20 box in it and never missed a beat it copped a thrashing and was perfect so i would rather blow 3 of those boxes than 1 25 gearbox

just wondering on what u guys think would be my best option to go about these problems

thanx heaps

I've got the bottom end or a wiring harness for a RB25 neo that was in an automatic Nissan Laurel if that helps any. It was chopped just before the ECU, so it should have most of the plugs you need.
