How convenient. Price list page on ahg website ain't working lol. I'm assuming that we'd be doing the "bring your own car" thing ? I couldn't find any UNO on club/group bookings or other options such as motorkhana day or anything.

What does the club normally do ? Us it mostly skid pan and driving round cones or do we use the track aswell ?

I think it's pretty much skidpan only, especially on the weekends.

I went to a weekday one last year where we used the track and, due to a group on teh skidpan cancelling, they opened up one of the skidpans for us too.

Best to let Bard organise it I reckons :)

This was the day i organised in the middle of summer???

The way it will work is when i get a date secured it will be advertised for 16 people at $xx.

Its being worked on as we speak and would hope to have it released to you guys by the weekend.

AHG has never advertised club pricing etc on the website that i know of.

Wont be on the track for a weekend event due to the V8 Rides using the track.

I was told by AHG i can hire the track on a weekend at a cost of $8000 as thats what the V8's make them :)

Any chance of double skid pan love then??

Yes its possible but at this stage late august for it. Just keep an eye out for a thread about it.

single skid pan will probably be 29th July Afternoon. Dont tell you want in yet....wait for the official thread tonight or tomorrow all things going well.

Greg, AHG do run public driver training events. They are only single skid pan events aswell. SAUWA is looking into running a double skid pan event in the near future (stay tuned).

You would be more than welcome to enter those events aswell if you like. In fact, id actually recommend it aswell. I think alot of guys like club events because its a bunch of Skylines all at the same time, its a great social event even if your not driving. I recommend doing as many of these driver training events as you can as you will find you get different instructors each time, and each instructor has things they will pick on and teach you. :P

We are looking at our event being run late July.

I'm in for sure, finally want to put my 32 on the track, please keep me posted.

Cheers

It will be released in the members section first. If spots are not taken, it will then be released to the public members.

Yeah my grandads mate is one of the instructos, not sure if you know him as i believe you know my grandad/ maybe/maybe not depends if you are the Brad im thinking of :D

Anyways the instructors name's Kerry, he rolled an evo at targa west though maybe we shouldnt listen to him :)
